The horror spin-off will continue in 2021.
December 3, 2020
AMC announced today that Fear the Walking Dead has been picked up for a seventh season. The good news comes just days after the horror drama went on hiatus for its current sixth season.
The zombie series, which began as a companion to The Walking Dead, has seen some significant changes over the years. Most of the original cast has departed and the current showrunners have altered its overall tone and storytelling style. The show's timeline has also gotten closer to the mothership series, with two stars of The Walking Dead having now crossed over to Fear.
Look for Season 7 of Fear the Walking Dead to premiere in mid-to-late 2021. In the meantime, the second half of Season 6 should return in early 2021.

Stopped watching after season 4.TWD universe was new and exciting but after 10 years it's become predictable. Just like the vampire craze for a few years the zombies shows are losing steam

This season is one of the best yet after a couple less than stellar seasons, I'll keep watching.

Phenomenal series. Season 3 had a rough patch but since they brought over characters from the Walking Dead and made it a completely different series makes it so great. The casting is brilliant. So glad the journey continues.
