The veteran reality series is back this September.
July 11, 2025
CBS has announced that the 49th season of Survivor will premiere on Wednesday, September 24. The veteran reality competition, which wrapped its 48th season less than two months ago, has already been picked up through Season 50.
On the air since the year 2000, Survivor is the longest-running reality show on broadcast network television. The series continues to be a reliable performer for CBS, airing two seasons each year.
As it has been doing since Season 45, episodes will continue to be 90 minutes in length.

They've had their problems because of cost reductions and a major revamp of the series. The first couple seasons after COVID and George Floyd were rough but it's gotten better. It's about the game again and worth watching.

I watch some seasons based on the "cast" but there are too many red flags suggesting that a lot of this is staged.

I stopped watching this garbage when they told Jeff Probst that he couldn't say "you guys" because people got offended.
Complete must-miss television.

More of this garbage? Yet again? The Probst-bot needs to be re-programmed as his epithets and aphorisms are so tiresome. Whoever writes the script for this show should be drawn and quartered.
