CBS announced today that Survivor is coming back for Season 44 in early 2023. The good news comes with roughly a month left in the veteran series' current 43rd season, further extending its record-setting run as the longest-running reality show on broadcast network television.
On the air since the year 2000 with over 630 total episodes, the series is showing no signs of losing steam, as it remains a reliable performer for the network. CBS has claimed Survivor is also its most-streamed reality series on Paramount+.
Season 44 of Survivor premieres on Wednesday, March 1.

but sitting there thru the 100 time mentions of:
so gracious, so meaninful, this animal, so precious, i love waking up this morning, the winter is hard, gracious, honor the land, honor my dead ancestors, honor other ancestors, sit there and contemplate the bear, beaver, and birds. don't lose one of your nine arrows. SERIOUSLY ANYONE TRY TO WATCH TWO SEASONS OF ALONE BACK TO BACK AND NOT GET OVERLY BLEEWWSHPPED ON WHAT THE HELL WAS THE POINT.
wha wha wha.
you all went out to the wild for days.
stop turning into prophets on camera.
build your shack, take down big game, survive.
Yet here we have the grand announcement by CBS that season 44 will happen when most likely it has already been filmed.
With Probs playing cheerleader every step of the way in the 'challenges', the show is no longer letting the viewers discover the spectrum of the social contract the is formed (*Thats the way you do it!*).
You also have 'contestants' that spend more time talking to the camera with woke sound bites they obviously have rehearsed (than trying to form/manipulate relationships).
