A police procedural following the government agency that investigates crimes involving Navy personnel.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is the primary law enforcement and counter-intelligence arm of the United States Department of the Navy. The show focuses on the often complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. Distinguished by its comedy elements, ensemble acting, and character-driven plots, cases can range from murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines.

Led by NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Marine gunnery sergeant whose investigative skills are unparalleled, the team is comprised of a robust group of characters, all with their own special skill set to bring to the table.

I LOVE THIS SHOW! Gibbs is the most wonderful character on television. Thank you for keeping this show on the air. I look forward to coming home from work on Tuesdays and watching this show with my husband.

The new season is turning out to be pretty good. They need to give Bishop something else to do besides be backup. When she first entered, she pretty much acted superior which I think the writers realized was wrong by Ep#2. I think they're afraid to do anything which would look like stepping into Ziva's territory. That in my opinion is a big mistake. Yes, there is only one Ziva but c,mon Bishop shouldn't have to hold back because the writers are afraid to Give her some fortitude. Let the woman kick some Butt once in a while.

Im glad that NCIS is back on. Its a top top show. One off if not the best show on tv at the minute. Its going to be good to see the alpha male between Gibbs and DiNozzo play out over the season.

Tried to watch the show with the new girl. Nuh uh...can't stand her. Love Ziva...esp the old Ziva when she was more feisty!

I truly enjoy NCIS .Since Ziva left the show it has lost it's spark. This Bishop character is a waste as she does not add anything to the show. In general the show is becoming boring. I am a faithful fan of the original NCIS and all the offshoots. I will continue to watch even though the show has lost it's sap. Bring back Ziva or a more interesting chaeacter...

Well, Gibbs gets plugged in the chest. They tried that on CSI Miami without success. Why? You can't kill off the main character and have the show survive, especially as NCIS is the #1 show on in the evening. Of course they may have him go all berserk on everyone until Leon gives him what for. At least I hope it doesn't come to that or I'll just mosey over to another channel.

Looking forward to a new season, but please tone down the music. I tune in for the dialogue which is hard to hear over the blaring music. Thanks!

I loved JAG and now NCIS. It is a must see each week and would like to see it continue. HOWEVER. This season the show has lost a little something - a little of it's edginess. There was something attractive about the tension between Tony and Caitlin and then with Ziva and Tony. Also the tension between Tim and Abby - not a lot of spark any more. Lastly, there was no real good interactions between Tony and Tim. Also, it was always interesting to see some female Gibbs interest in the show or between Gibbs and the NCIS Director. This season all tensions and interesting inter-character interactions have seemed to have been written out -- made the show a little less interesting, almost like just watching people work. The nice Bishop character is fine -- but she is married and they really don't ride her as a "Probe" - also please dye her eyebrows to match her hair PLEASE! The sitting on the floor and thinking angle she brings is not even close to as interesting as Caitlin's Secret Service Profiling background or Ziva's sexy yet damaged Mussada assassin background. Just seemed dull. Didn't really see too much of the director either and when they did it was all cordial. The interesting extra characters like Mike Franks, Gibbs Father, Ziva's Father Eli David, Fornell, Trent Kort, Tony's father, etc.... have all gone away or really taken diminished roles -- they need a new cast of recurring interesting characters. Lastly, the kinder, gentler Tony who is going to a men's group to "find himself" - really? Where are they going with this?. They need to add some spice back this coming year. Someone put a boot in the collective writer's buts....
