A police procedural following the government agency that investigates crimes involving Navy personnel.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is the primary law enforcement and counter-intelligence arm of the United States Department of the Navy. The show focuses on the often complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. Distinguished by its comedy elements, ensemble acting, and character-driven plots, cases can range from murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines.

Led by NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Marine gunnery sergeant whose investigative skills are unparalleled, the team is comprised of a robust group of characters, all with their own special skill set to bring to the table.

I've been a fan of all thing JAG/NCIS since the vey beginning but I have to say I am getting a bit tired of the show now. NCIS seems to have lost it's spark and NCIS LA doesn't have much going for it except the last remaining 'will they, won't they' of the whole franchise, that is Nell and Eric.
Perhaps it should or could wind down to a great finale with some cross-overs.
Oh and I really don't think the NCIS New Orleans spin-off is a good idea at all, especially if it has Scott Bakula at the helm.
More Naval criminal investigations and less spy games that is what I would like to see.

Well, the studio probably caught so much flack about the new team member being so annoyingly over the top smart, last nights episode "Homesick" she barely spoke up at all. I'd like to like the character of Bishop and if they keep her toned down, I'm sure they'll keep her on.
And Keith, talk about something you know about!

It looks like they miss Ziva so much they hurriedly chose someone that is so fantastic, she even one upped Ducky Gibbs and Abby. She read and remembered a complete medical journal in one evening? What next...she spins around and turns into Wonder Woman? They need to make her a little less super or I'm going to search for another show.

NCIS is one of my top 3 favorites. I absolutely love the show. Sad to see Ziva go but I am still a faithful viewer. The show was good before she come on and it will still be good w/o her not to say she didn't add something extra to it. KEEP THIS SHOW ON IT ROCKS ;)

Wow we are losing Ziba sorry if I mis spell her name. She will be missed. I wish her the best. Hope she saved her money. Never read anything bad about her. She is and always will be a class lady. MKL Good luck in your future. Wonder who will replace her and how will they write her out of the show. Hope the mucky muck network leaders have her back for guest appearences. MKL

How is this still on? I mean the real NCIS is wondering which agency they are using modeling.. as it isn't them. More Police Propaganda about how these guys are the moral authority and science fiction tools that make it creepy in that Orwellian way. Lawyers must watch this stuff as comedy.
