CBS announced today that long-running series NCIS has been renewed for an eleventh season. The network's flagship drama continues to be a ratings powerhouse, this season earning the rank of television's #1 program and averaging over 21 million viewers.
No premiere date has been announced for Season 11, but a late September 2013 return is likely.
UPDATE: Season 11 of NCIS premieres on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 8:00pm.

NCIS has been number one in our household from Day One. Keep it coming. Love the Aussie connections into cast and production team. Honest, funny and cynical - all emotions catered. Thanks

A great show even after 10 years. The current cast is fantastic but I must admit I do miss Kate. Never was a fan of Jimmy.

Well, well, a great news! Just today I saw it. Here in Brazil we are finishing by now the 10th. season, we will have two more episodes and the expectations for a new one are strong. All my friends and work colleagues are also fans of the series and, if you excuse, friends of that whole incredible cast.... Thank you so much, to CBS responsible staff!! Regards from Brazil!

I am a true 10 year fan and I am overcome with joy of it's renewal. There is still so much that the writers can do with the cast. I can't wait for Sept to come... Great job cast and crew on this series.
PS - Not everyone can like all shows but I think the likes outway the don't likes on this one.

A stupid show. Everybody wanders around doing whatever they feel like at the moment with no thought to the consequences. A team lead that rules by arbitrary physical intimidation. A 40 something child man that cant think beyond his next sexual conquest, The "smart" sidekick that is the butt of all the jokes,the disgusting forensic scientist in her dog collar and 6 inch heels and a dress that shows the crack of her ass at work, And of course the butch woman who hates he father so much she spends a season looking for the guy who killed him, again with no consequences. And this is the number one show in America?

Thank You CBS for listening to your audience. The Actors on the show are the greatest. They do a great job of Acting. The writers and rest of the production crew are all "First Class"!!!!

So the commercials for the upcoming episodes keep saying "The Final x Episodes" in the wind-up before the cliffhanging pitch of what's going to happen. Whoever signed off on that is playing a cruel game with our hearts.
