The reality show extends its run.
March 25, 2016
CBS has renewed Survivor for the 2016-2017 television season. On the air since 2000, Survivor is the longest-running reality show on broadcast network TV. After 16 years, it continues to draw impressive ratings and shows little sign of slowing down.
If the show maintains its two-a-year format, today's pickup will see it through Season 34.

Can host Jeff Shut up during challenges. He is so annoying. I mute the sound during them.

I saw this and went ummm
" 2000, Survivor is the longest-running reality show on TV."
Now I actually never watched The Real World, but I like their 'challenge' shows and so I had to wiki it...
"Real World (formerly known as The Real World from 1992 to 2013) is a reality television program on MTV ..... First broadcast in 1992...."
So yeah they lied lol
I watched SOME of the years but not many any more..

I still like Survivor after all these years, though it has become predictable, really I miss the adventures of Evil Russell causing havoc on the show. One issue though it's not really the longest running reality show, that would probably be MTV's Real World, sure it serves little purpose but it has been around since 1992.
